Amanda Stafford

 

Although born in Nottinghamshire most of my professional life has been spent working as a Psychotherapist within the NHS in Tyne and Wear.  On leaving the NHS my love of Cornwall and the sea took me to Penzance where my interest in people merges  with a passion for painting.  Whilst  specialising in portraiture and figurative art I also enjoy still-life and seascape.

 

As a lover of Italy and all things Italian, I studied for a time in Florence, though essentially I am a self-taught Artist.  Stylistically, it would probably be accurate to describe my work as representational and figurative.  

 

With a flair for jewellery-making my range uses natural materials such as silver and gorgeous refined stones to create pieces of beauty and sensuality.
